Could you please organise a reciprocal citizenship arrangement with Canada?

Posted on April 28th, 2010 by admin

Canada is a country with similar resource and strategic interests to Australia. Its history and current political leadership is also similar. Having a reciprocal citizen arrangement with New Zealand has worked, in many ways, for the mutual benefit of both countries. Isn’t now the right time to do the same with Canada?

Native born maybe but we have different immigration rules. However, our resources are similar so it wouldn’t be a matter of one draining the other, I agree.

compare and contrast the leadership styles of george bush and hugo chavez?

Bush Vs. Chavez

Big Buisness Vs. Populist

Incompetent Vs. Effective

Living in a dream world Vs. Living in the real world

Selected Vs. Elected.

What traits make a leader effective? Do you evaluate those traits when assessing our political leadership?

I really don’t see it in the comments in this section. Why is that?

honesty, integrity, candor, character, humility, articulate, reflective, fearless.
yes, but i seldom find them.

What are the fundamentals in your leadership style?

Posted on April 28th, 2010 by admin

Open-minded: Everybody has the need to be heard. I listen without objections, waiting for the opportunity voice my opinion.

Clarity: When asked for direction, I provide specifics instead of generalities. I encourage probing questions in the process of arriving at sufficient clarity.

Respect: My team members are the performers. So I treat them like heroes.

I’m having so much trouble with my homework, please help.. it’s Public Services to do with Styles of Leadershi?

Posted on April 28th, 2010 by admin

Which Public Service would the following leadership style be used in?
I have to describe a situation for each one..

Autocratic
Bureaucratic
Charismatic
Democratic
Laissez-faire
People-orientated
Servant
Task-orientated
Transactional
Transformational

Autocratic – I’m the boss and you will do what I say
Bureaucratic – there is so much red tape to go through but we will get there in the end
Charismatic – talk their way out of anything and everyone else to go along with what they think
Democratic – lets all decide together what we will do about this
Laissez-faire – you are all doing a great job without me
People orientated – lets find out what everyone wants and try to do that
Servant – we have to do what everyone wants whether we like it or not (public servant)
task-orientated – I am going to do everything I can to get this job done at the expense of everything else
transactional ???? lost me now
transformational – I am the new broom that will sweep clean and make this workplace a better one

hope that helps
