MINDS CEO Darryl C. Walls facilitated 4 Leadership and Teambuilding workshops at the bequest of Director JoAnn Rountree (The OWL, Goals & Objectives, The 5 Stages of Leadership, and The MINDS Leadership Olympics). “I want to create an environment for our children that cuts through the apathetic behavior often seen in them and demonstrate how we value them.” said Ms. Rountree. For 3 days a diverse group of teens were challenged to step-up their leadership game. Some wanted to…some did…& some quit! A 5-part video & slideshow will follow SO STAY TUNED!!! Awards were given for top team performance by “The Leaders of Achievers” (Nashawana, Isaiah, “I”), best expressed vision received a copy of Mr. Walls’s Leadership Defined book(Bryan), and best participative behavior received a copy of Mr. Walls’s Conversations on Faith (Christine).
